Community Club Fundraisers
In order to fund our programs and protect the art and music curriculum from budget cuts, Community Club looks to raise about $60,000 each year to supplement with these amazing programs such as garden, art, music and science! We target to about $300 per student. Yes, it is a daunting task, but with your support we can continue to achieve our goals. We ask you to generously support our two annual fundraisers or consider becoming one of our sustaining donors by committing to a monthly pledge.
Our two main fundraisers are very fun and community driven!
Walk-A-Thon in the fall and Spring Fling in the spring time!
Walk-A-Thon
In the Fall, the Community Club sponsors a Walk-A-Thon. Shortly after school starts you will see a flier coming home with the date of the event, a fun theme and a pledge form. Students who turn in a minimum pledge (amount varies year to year) receive a Walk-a-Thon T-shirt, which can be worn all year to show school spirit. If you own a business and would like to advertise on the back of the t-shirts, keep an eye out for those fliers as well.
It will be held during the last few hours of a Friday school day and will include a spirit rally, a walk-a-thon and family-oriented games. The timing and exact activities are up to the event organizer. Each walk-a-thon has its own theme to make them fun and different from year to year.
The Walk-A-Thon also has it's own committee! If you're interested in helping and being involved in this committee, please email us at [email protected].
Spring Fling
Each spring the Community Club sponsors a wonderful community driven fundraiser - a fun dinner/auction with the community. The event is usually held on a weekend evening and is targeted at parents, teachers and community members. Ticket sales usually cover the cost of putting on the event; the majority of profits coming from the raffle, online auction and live auction during the evening. There is always a fun theme and people typically come dressed accordingly. It's a fun event with the auction, food, drinks, and some form of entertainment.
Spring Fling has it's own committee as well! If you're interested in being involved, please email us at [email protected].

6th Grade Science Camp
Every spring the 6th grade class spends a week at Science Camp. It is a fun, educational experience where students both learn about science and become more independent in this week away from their parents. Parents of the 6th grade class often organize fundraisers to help reduce the cost to families for this trip.
